So I’m in college town Tampa for work and figured I’d take my daughter out to dinner because she’s been studying her brains out at USF. We were actually on our way to a different Chinese buffet when we accidentally stumbled into AJISAI Hibachi Buffet… and let me tell you, sometimes getting lost is the best thing that can happen! The words “All You Can Eat” had me at hello. 😂 For $32.99, the amount of food choices is absolutely insane. Sushi? Check. Hibachi? Check. Seafood? Check. Desserts? Check. Basically, if you leave hungry, that’s a personal decision. Now, I walked in hungrier than a hostage… and my daughter? Let’s just say she activated her Big Back Scholarship. 🤣🍣🍤 Every time I looked up, she had another plate like she was training for the Buffet Olympics. I was honestly proud. Everything we tried was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The staff kept everything stocked, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was perfect for stuffing your face without judgment. If you’re in Tampa visiting your kid at USF, do yourself a favor and stop by AJISAI Hibachi Buffet. Just wear stretchy pants… because your belt is definitely filing a complaint afterward. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Listen to me very carefully. If you are walking into Ajisai 3 in Tampa and you do not explicitly demand to be seated in Maya’s section, you are committing a crime against your own happiness. I came in expecting some top-tier sushi and a nice evening out. What I got was a spiritual awakening curated by a hospitality deity disguised as a server. I was struggling to choose between two specialty rolls. Before I even opened my mouth to ask, Maya glided over and said, "You want the first one, but with a side of spicy mayo, and yes, it will change your life." It did. It actually fixed my credit score and cured my seasonal allergies. Maya has ruined all other dining experiences for me. How can I ever go to another restaurant knowing Maya isn't there to anticipate my needs before I even realize I have them? She is the undisputed queen of Tampa's culinary scene. If Ajisai 3 doesn't already have a portrait of her hanging above the sushi bar illuminated by a single, heavenly spotlight, they are doing it wrong. Give this woman a raise, the keys to the city, and a Nobel Peace Prize. We will be back, and we will be chanting her name.

I have been wanting to try a sushi place in Tampa for a while now, and since friends were visiting over the weekend, we finally made it happen. This place truly satisfied our cravings! We went for the $35 All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) deal and ordered a little bit of everything to share. The Food Highlights: The Godzilla Roll was easily the table favorite, closely followed by the Yummy Roll. Both were fresh and packed with flavor. The octopus balls were super soft and authentic. You also can’t go wrong with their crab ragoons crispy and delicious as always! Beyond sushi, they have a massive selection including ramen, teriyaki, hibachi, and various noodle dishes, so there’s truly something for everyone. The Experience: It was very busy when we visited, so we did have to wait a bit longer for our server to get to the table. However, it was the perfect excuse to sit back, catch up, and connect with my friends. The lively atmosphere and great food made it well worth the wait. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a quality AYCE experience!

I got the AYCE dinner, which you can choose anything from the sushi, hibachi, Ramen, appetizers, etc... I started out with gyoza, crab rangoon/wontons, and sesame balls. I tried 3 different sushi rolls, another round of the crab rangoon/wontons and the sesame balls, then finished with some ice cream lol the sushi i tried tonight were the Spicy Kani Roll, Special Dragon Roll, and the Snow Roll... if i wasn't so full, I would've ordered more snow rolls, which were AMAZING! All I tried was incredible, and i didn't leave a crumb (i normally don't eat a lot, but wanted to get my money's worth, because the menu is on the pricy side, but the AYCE price is not bad of you're ordering a lot of food and want to try a bunch of new things) The service was fast, all the staff were very friendly, and they always seemed to know when you wanted to order more. Thank you for the amazing service and delicious food!

Ajisai does have very good sushi at reasonable prices, whether taking advantage of their extensive AYCE menu or just getting a couple items a la carte, but that's honestly not even what I wanted to highlight here. I couldn't help but notice the 'Canva' watermarks on the little fruit graphics that they used, & truthfully I just love that human touch here. I deeply appreciate that they did not use AI to make this graphic. Give me your cute little human errors & watermarks all day over the mass amount of slop I keep seeing! A level of integrity to match their good food & good service. A small detail to some, but it means a lot to me. I hope they will continue with this small yet significant detail, and I'll happily keep coming back!

I’m super impressed by this place! We had a table of 5 and we ordered probably almost everything we could but the ramen! Everything was amazing! We had the pink lemonade cocktail and it was yum. While we were eating an early dinner the place filled up and there was a table of like 20+ at least next to us and it didn’t bother our speed of service, I was super impressed by the server! and they brought out like 30 waters all at once on a tray for the big party and I wish I got a picture because we were all super amazed on how it was done. Two servers had to carry the tray of waters there was so many! It was actually pretty cool! And even the ice cream was awesome!

Came here with my son as we were visiting him in Tampa. This place is GREAT! Who would have thought an "all you can eat" sushi restaurant could deliver on quality?? I sure didn't think so but was proven wrong. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, the rolls were perfectly portioned, and all of the sides (edamame, salad, dumplings, etc.) were served hot and tasty. Our typical bill at a sushi bar is around $150. At Ajisai 3 it was cut in half and we definitely had more "sides" than we would have had anywhere else. My son has already been back!

My dad & I went to Ajisai last year in June of 2025. I was curious about this new Japanese restaurant that had opened near my job & we decided to try it one night! We ordered 2 orders of Spring Roll (3 to each order), the Kitchen Entree of Chicken Teriyaki, & Vegetable Fried Rice. The food was fresh, the staff were super nice, & the atmosphere is a lot of fun! We ended up not doing the all you can eat option as it was just too much that night but the food gave us leftovers for the next day! I can't wait to go back!

It was our first time in this all-you-can-eat sushi hibachi restaurant. There was plenty of parking outside. It was easy to find. They have option for eat all you can or à la carte. The price is pretty decent for it. The cost for the all you can eat option is pretty good. It was around $35 including tax. The menu is extensive. There are a lot of options for drinks included in the happy hour option (2 for 1). Service is friendly and fast. Food is very good.

We had a wonderful experience at Ajisai! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sushi was excellent, and every dish was full of flavor. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Japanese food in Tampa!

We came here with four large parties to celebrate an event. The staff were excellent, the food was stellar, and I was really impressed! Thank you so much for helping us celebrate with our families with a very big group of people. - on a side note, please fix your phone. We could not reach anybody via phone. I have to say this place is probably the best sushi joint I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to hundreds! My server Harrison, was absolutely amazing and saved me likely 30 minutes scrolling the menu making perfect recommendations for what I was looking for. If you’re in the Tampa area, I strongly encourage you to get out of the Tampa business district and head north to this place.

Absolutely loved this place. Many AYCE sushi places give you small portions of habachi/noodles etc, which is good and bad. They give you the full habachi plate of rice/veg/meat. Sushi quality is great and roll options are great. I don’t do tempura or cream cheese so that usually leaves me with very limited options, but they had a ton!

Food is great for an all you can eat place but the service here is trash. People will not get dishes until everyone else is done, if you ask for sauce expect the wait to be twice what the food took. Really sad they drop the ball on the most basic aspects of a resturant and this is when they are slow as well.

We opted for all you can eat menu. Ambiance and decor of the place is next level. Service was fast. Food came out relatively quickly. They were quick to refill our drinks! Loved the buy one Get one free hot sake! Plus they offered 50 % off my friends dinner for her birthday ! We’ll probably be back soon

We stopped here the week we dropped my son off at USF. The "all you can eat option" was great for my son who eats a lot, but you are still able to eat ala-cart, which some places do not allow. My son and wife enjoyed the Sushi which was brought out extremely fast. I had the chicken fried rice bowl.

The miso soup was a bit salty for my taste, but overall a fantastic AYCE sashimi and sushi experience! The portions were generous and the quality was noticeably better than other spots I’ve tried. The staff were also incredibly kind and accommodating to our large group. Would definitely recommend!

We haven't come here in a minute because it's a bit far for us, but after a weekend of restaurant disappointments we needed a win! And it never disappoints!!! The food is absolutely the best and if you are spanish get the calamari and ask for lemon it's sooooooooo good!!!

Excellent quality sushi and a relaxing atmosphere. There was a minor 10-minute wait for drinks at the start, but the service picked up quickly and the food was outstanding. Great menu variety and very fairly priced at $35 per person. One of my favorite AYCE spots!

Out of all my years living in Tampa I’ve finally found THE sushi spot. I lived in near by and was craving sushi. Gave them a shot and let me tell yall I could taste how fresh and good quality this was. I can’t wait to try other stuff and prices were VERY friendly.
